I don't even know where to really start with this review because the minute this foundation touched my face, I knew this was something special, I just didn't know HOW special it would turn out to be.  Even my husband who doesn't understand my obsession with makeup commented "Wow hunny, your makeup looks flawless today."  Now that IS  some magic foundation if you ask me! 😉

I was really expecting the shade to be completely off and not anything close to matching me-but I am not kidding this really worked!  It is my exact match that I have never been truly able to achieve with other foundations.  I don't even have to blend it down my neck and there are no lines of demarcation. The formula is thick and gel-like but it glides effortlessly across my face.  I have tried using it with my real techniques sponge, beauty blender and foundation brushes.  If you want light coverage use the beauty blender.  I found my favorite way to apply is with a flat top dense foundation brush.  I get medium coverage right away using it and then I use my beauty sponge at the end to add a little more where I want it.  The finish is very skin like and does have a slight radiance look to it without any shimmer or glitter particles.  I love how natural it can look and I can still see my freckles peeking through.   My powder and liquid products all blended out easily on top.

I wasn't sure if I should set it or not, but since I tend to have to set most of my foundations I went ahead and did so on day 1.  What I found is that this foundation does not make me oily AT ALL!  I can't believe it.  By the 3-4 hour mark I always have a lot of shine peeking through and I have to blot or powder my nose area.  I have worn this with setting powder on my nose and without and it doesn't make a major difference.  No oil slick here.

This foundation lasts a solid 8 hours.  I have even worn it for 12 hours on a day we had to attend an outside BBQ in the hot humid summer heat and no lie, it never broke down until the 9 hour mark in areas where I touched my face.  I can go all day without touching up or powdering.   I had gotten so many compliments on my skin I kept nudging my husband and saying "see, it is this foundation, I know it!"  I may carry around facial spray to bring some freshness back into it, if I need to wear it longer than 8 hours. 

So after wearing this foundation for over a week, I can honestly say I am in LOVE.  I can't get enough of it.  This will be the only foundation I want to wear and it will be hard to put it down to give my other foundations in my collection some love.   No matter how I apply it, what I use underneath or on top it always looks beautiful.  The best part, is I have this confidence knowing how this is my shade and it doesn't look "off".  The price is a bit on the higher end of what I would like to spend, I think the product itself proves that it is worth it.  

I hope that this foundation is a success and I hope that people aren't afraid to give it a try (I know I was very unsure and skeptical).  I will be stocking up just in case it doesn't work out.
